One of the concerns of foreigners when considering living in Vietnam is whether to choose between two big cities, Hanoi or Saigon. So, today’s article will make it easier for you to decide where your next destination is!

Living in Vietnam: Should I choose Saigon or Hanoi?

Cultural differences between Hanoi and Saigon

Technological and Internet conveniences are helping to narrow the cultural gap between Saigon and Hanoi. However, in general, the capital Hanoi is still a bit more classical and traditional than Saigon.

One of the most vivid examples is the nightlife. If in Saigon, the bars and clubs in Saigon will close in the morning, while in Hanoi, the bars  close at midnight.

Lifestyle

Not only that, the relationship between people in Saigon and Hanoi is also different. Especially in terms of romantic relationships, in Saigon you will find more couples living together before marriage than in Hanoi. Besides, building friendships is not the same. Specifically, Hanoians often keep their distance when making new friends while Saigon people are more friendly and open right from the start.

Economic development

Generally, people living in Vietnam have all the necessary modern amenities for housing as well as services to meet their living needs. Local markets have gradually disappeared to make way for buildings and offices.

Besides, Hanoi and Saigon have also welcomed many foreign tourists with many attractive tourist attractions. In particular, both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have become the most bustling and modern megacities of our country.

Public transport

Compared to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi capital has more developed infrastructure. Specifically, the Metro system is being built faster than the city named after Uncle Ho in the southern region.

In comparison to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi capital has more developed infrastructure.

Weather

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will have huge differences in seasons and temperatures. Specifically, in Hanoi, there will be four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Winter and early spring are the coldest times of the year, but temperatures are still between 15 and 20°C. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the year-round temperature is usually warm.

However, summer is more humid in Hanoi than in Saigon. Because the North is affected by the humid wind blowing from Laos. Meanwhile, Saigon is drier because of the wind from Cambodia. But overall, in both cities summer can be scorching hot.

If you are considering living in Vietnam, but are still confused between these two cities, let us help you with some comparison of the “wealth” of the two places.

Is Hanoi or Saigon more developed economically?

Over the years, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as the two economic locomotives of Vietnam, have always been at the forefront of the transformation process, especially in the economic field. Since then, it has inspired the renewal of theoretical and economic thinking and contributed to the whole country with important development steps.

Statistics from many economic surveys in recent years have shown that Ho Chi Minh City is a special city and holds an extremely important position in terms of society, economy, politics, science. technology in our country. Specifically, Saigon accounts for 25% of the national budget, about 22-23% of the country’s GDP and 33% of the country’s services. The average annual economic growth rate of Hanoi is 9.5%, 1.5 times higher than the national average. Its budget revenue accounts for nearly 20% and its GDP accounts for 10% of the whole country.

Above is some information about living in Vietnam, specifically in the two big cities of Ha Noi and Saigon. Hope you find this information useful!

When Vietnam begins to reopen international tourism after many months of the border closure, perhaps Vietnam vaccine passports may be the most searched keyword for travel lovers to the country. If you are an English teacher who is already living and teaching in Vietnam, you might not have to worry about this passport. However, if you are outside of the country and planning to enter Vietnam in the near future, we’re here to help.

Things to know about Vaccine Passports

A vaccine passport is a certificate of having two doses- Covid 19 vaccine, adjusted according to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and the International Regulations on Health Quarantine.

In some countries, people may call it by another name such as digital green pass, vaccination card, green pass, and proof of vaccination. It would allow people to participate in activities such as traveling, going to a restaurant, or other events that involve social interaction among people.

Thus, it helps health agencies better control citizens’ health, which supports the nations to open their doors to international visitors in the soonest time possible.

Those having this passport have been certified in having a stable health condition and having an advantage when applying for a visa to leave the country. Thus, we suppose that a vaccine passport will be required in many countries as a condition for entry one day besides a passport or visa, especially during the stronger outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic.

Things to know about Vaccine Passports

Things to know about Vaccine Passports

How Are Vaccine Passports Used In Vietnam?

Currently, Vietnam recognizes “vaccine passports” based on vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and Vietnam’s Ministry of Health for emergency use approval.
Vietnam also approves vaccine passports of 72 countries and territories in the world. The list of countries and territories that have been officially introduced in the form of vaccination certificates and certificates of recovery from Covid-19 disease is regularly updated on the website of the Vietnamese Consular Department. Try to check it out to know whether your country is on the list or not.

If you have a vaccine passport, you can reduce your centralized quarantine period to 7 days instead of 14 days as before.

Benefits of Holding Vietnam Vaccine Passport

There are many benefits of holding a vaccine passport in Vietnam.

  • Traveling to countries that have reopened and accept vaccine passports
  • Joining activities that involve crowds such as going to clubs, music events, watching movies, seminars.
  • Participate in outdoor events such as business events or festivals.
  • Traveling to certain tourist places in Vietnam such as Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Quang Ninh,..

How To Have Vaccine Passport in Vietnam?

Step 1: Go to the website https://tokhaiyte.vn/ to make a medical declaration. Then, the medical facility only needs to scan the QR code to track and update more information in your previously declared profile

Step 2: Go to the medical facility that is near you for registering vaccination.

Step 3: When there are vaccines available, you will be notified. Bear in mind bringing a health insurance book, citizen identification card, or national identity card so that they can save your information.

When you’re there; before getting the vaccine, they will conduct a health check for you. If you have some underlying medical condition, medical staff might advise you to go to a larger medical facility because in case you need an emergency, they will always be proper support. Or, if you’re taking medicines containing corticoids, you are not allowed for vaccination.

After you complete the first injection, your information will be stored on the website for the relevant departments to easily track and issue the vaccine passport until you complete 2 dose vaccines.

Vietnam vaccine passport is one of the best solutions at this time when you want to travel to another country. However, if you just have this document, you are not allowed to enter Vietnam at this time because you need to prepare a business registration sponsor, visa, and other documents!

What is consular legalization in Vietnam?

This is when a competent Vietnamese agency certifies the seal, signature, title on the papers, and documents issued by a foreign agency to be recognized and used in Vietnam. This regulation was adopted in Decree No. 111/2011/ND-CP dated December 5, 2011, on consular certification and legalization.

Consular legalization only confirms seals, signatures, and titles on papers and documents, not the content and form of papers and documents.

Requirements for documents to be consular legalized in Vietnam Embassy

What is consular legalization

If you want your documents to be consular legalized, they need to meet the following requirements:

– Excludes any modification or erasure that has not been properly repaired as required by law.
– Must not contain conflicting details.
– Not forged, issued or not validly certified as prescribed by law.
– No unoriginal stamps or signatures.
– Does not contain content that infringes upon the interests of the Vietnamese state.

And then, before going through the consular legalization process, you must ensure that:

– Your paper or document consisting of two or more pages must have a seal affixed to the adjacent pages;
– Your documents must first be certified by a diplomatic mission, consular office abroad or other competent authority of your country;
– Your papers and documents must be translated into Vietnamese or English (if the originals are not recorded in those languages).

Where to legalize documents?

If you are currently in your country/outside Vietnam, you need to contact the nearest Vietnam Embassy for detailed guidelines.

If you are currently in Vietnam, you can bring documents for consular legalization of your papers and documents at the following competent agencies:

– Hanoi: Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, No. 40 Tran Phu, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

– HCM: Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at 184 bis Pasteur, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

These agencies receive dossiers and return results on weekdays, excluding public holidays.

How to Consular Legalize Documents in Vietnam Embassy

NOTE: Please contact the Vietnamese Embassy to get detailed instructions for document legalization. The information below is for reference only.

There are usually 02 options to get your papers consular legalized for being used legally in Vietnam

  • Option 1: Authentication by Ministry of Foreign Affair (MOFA) of issuing country -> Consular Legalization by Vietnam Embassy in issuing country
  • Option 2: Authentication by MOFA of issuing country -> Authentication by Embassy/Consulate General of Issuing Country in Vietnam > Legalization by Vietnam MOFA

After being legalized by the process mentioned above, your documents will be translated into Vietnamese and certified for being used in Vietnam.

Option 1: Authentication by MOFA of issuing country -> Consular Legalization by Vietnam Embassy in issuing country

As it’s displayed within the process, you’ll have to finish the subsequent 02 steps to get your document ready:

Step 1: Document authentication

What you need to do in this step is submitting your paper or documents to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in the issuing country for authentication.

► Important note: It’s compulsory to follow the requirements set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication. For example, certain MOFAs request you to have documents certified by a Notary Public in advance, while other MOFAs require your diplomas to be certified by the Ministry of Education and Training in advance, etc.

Step 2: Vietnam embassy legalization

This step is also known as Vietnam embassy authentication, in which you have to prepare the following documents beforehand:

– 01 application for certification/legalization for your documents –you can refer to the form LS/HPH-2012/TK
– Originals of the identification papers for the case of direct submission; or 01 copy of identification papers for the case of submitting by mail;
– Originals and 01 copy of to-be-legalized documents which have been certified MOFA of the issuing country; original and 01 copy of the translated documents requested for Vietnam embassy legalization, if such documents are not prepared in the required languages (Vietnamese or English)

Finally, submit those items to the Vietnam embassy/consulate general in the issuing country for consular legalization.

Option 2: Authentication by MOFA of issuing country -> Authentication by Embassy/Consulate General of Issuing country in Vietnam -> Legalization by Vietnam MOFA

Step 1: Document authentication

Same as Step 1 in Option 1.

Step 2: Authentication by Embassy/Consulate General of Issuing country in Vietnam

After getting your document authenticated by the Consular Department of the MOFA of the issuing country, bring it to the Embassy/Consulate General of its issuing country in Vietnam for further authentication.

In this step, you indeed must follow the Embassy/Consulate General’s instructions and requirements.

Step 3. Consular legalization by Vietnam MOFA

In the last step to get Vietnam consular legalization, you will have to work with the Consular Department of Hanoi, or Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations

The dossiers required for this process are as below:

– Vietnam consular legalization request form No. LS/HPH-2012/TK.
– The originals of the identification papers in cases of direct submission;
– 01 copy of identification papers if submitting by mail;
– Required document(s) certified by foreign diplomatic missions, consular offices or other agencies;
– 01 translated version of the required documents for consular legalization into Vietnamese or English, if such documents are not recorded in the above-mentioned languages;

In case it is required to check the authenticity of your documents; the officials who receive your dossiers may request you to present original documents, relevant documents and submit 01 copy of those mentioned above.

We hope the above information is useful for you when you need to legalize your documents

According to documents from a representative of the American Institute of Education, there are currently 4 important factors that govern the brand value of an educational institution, in this case, the English centers in Vietnam: Facilities, Advertising, Training Quality; and Technology application.

There are many criteria to categorize the different types of  English centers in Vietnam, but in this article, we will focus on two basic aspects: Their training program and tuition fee range.

1. Classify English centers by tuition fee ranges:

– PREMIUM SEGMENT:

English centers like British Council, ILA, APOLLO, POLY locate the High-end segment with tuition fees ranging from 6 million to 10 million / month. Teachers at these centers are trained and recruited very carefully, with relatively good to very good training quality, modern facilities and efficient customer service.

– MEDIUM SEGMENT:

Typically, VUS, YOLA, Than Dong, AMA with thousands of students learning English. Tuition fees at these English centers range from 4 million to 6 million / month. The percentage of students studying with foreign teachers is about 50%, but in lessons with Vietnamese teachers, students are also required to speak 100% English.

– COMMERCIAL SEGMENT:

Popular English centers in this segment: Duong Minh, North America, Australia Saigon (AUS), My Viet. The tuition fees vary from 2 million to 4 million / month. The study time with foreign teachers in a course usually accounts for only 30% and most teachers are mainly required to lead listening and speaking activities.

2. Classification of  English centers by their training programs:

There are only 2 criteria:

English as a Second Language

(Roughly understood as how Singaporean, Filipino, Malaysian or International School students are studying).

  • Training goals:

Learn ENGLISH through subjects. Communicate effectively, culminating in debate and rhetoric. In the English market, typically POLY is teaching the English Language Arts program according to North American standards

  • Program content:

Learn skills in separate, intensive subjects: listening, speaking, reading, essay writing, presentation, debate divided into separate subjects; or learn English by subjects such as Science, Society, History, Literature.

The strength of this program is to help students have background knowledge and ideas for communication – the key to all human activities big and small in society. If you don’t have the knowledge, information, or ideas to talk about, you won’t be able to speak no matter how long you study. Therefore, if the knowledge and cultural background of the language is supported, the English proficiency of these students will be equivalent to that of native students. Students are trained to speak and discuss in-depth matters, able to argue, criticize, and persuade listeners. In other words, this training program is to develop both effective communication, and fluency.

English as a foreign language: (Learn English for communication).

  • Training objectives: fluent communication. In the market, about 95% of centers are training according to this communication goal including British Council, ILA, Apollo, VUS, Speak UP, etc.
  • Program content: focus on listening and speaking; do not put too much emphasis on reading and writing.
  • Textbook: mainly integrates 4 skills in 1 book, combined with photo documents or other auxiliary documents.

When coming to Vietnam to work there is always uncertainty as to what to bring – what can you buy there? What can’t you get? – this article aims to address these needs offering concrete suggestions as to what to pack and what to leave behind.

What to pack when coming to Vietnam

Clothes

The first thing you need to think about what to pack when coming to Vietnam are clothes. At work, the Vietnamese tend to dress very smartly so there is a need to pack some formal clothes for work purposes. For men, this is a shirt and tie and long trousers ( not jeans ) and for women a blouse and skirt or trousers or a dress ( with sleeves ) You can buy clothes in Vietnam however as a general rule they are for the smaller sizes so it is not so easy to get clothes the larger you are. It is possible to have clothes made so if you have a favourite item of clothing then bring this along and you can get it replicated in various materials.

Do make sure that you look up the weather for where you will be working in Vietnam as the country has a huge difference in climate. In the South ( for example, Ho Chi Minh City ) it is hot all year round so you will need to pack thin tops and shorts and clothes made of natural fibres. In comparison, in the North (for example, Hanoi) there are distinct seasons with the summers being hot and the winters being cold so there is a need for cardigans and thick jackets.

There are plenty of shoes for sale in Vietnam – however the sizes are for the smaller foot

There are plenty of shoes for sale in Vietnam – however the sizes are for the smaller foot

Footwear

As well as catering for small sizes in clothes, the same is true for footwear. For women the largest size typically found is a maximum of European size 38 or 39 and for men European size 42 or 43.. This is relatively small for expats so unless you have small feet it is recommended that you bring a selection of shoes with you for both work and leisure. There are however a large number of sports shoes (trainers) which are available in slightly larger sizes. Many of these are pretend brand names (which can be of exceptionally high quality) so just bring one pair and purchase when coming to Vietnam.

Swimming costumes

Swimming costumes are quite hard to buy in Vietnam – bikinis are quite common however. The swimming costumes tend to be the type with skirts and bows etc. – so more decorative rather than designed for serious swimming so it is advised that you bring your own. There are a lot of pools in Vietnam (as well as a lot of beaches) so even if you are not yet an avid swimmer there will be a lot of opportunities for you to wear your swimming costume.

Traditional costumes

During the school year there are often opportunities for you to showcase your country’s traditional costume – so if you can bring something along that would be great. If your country does not have a costume as such then it is a good idea to at least bring a flag. People in Vietnam are always curious about your home country and your home life so photographs are always useful to bring as well as any local maps or tour books.

Flashcards and teaching materials

In relation to teaching materials, there is a huge variety between what schools and language centres offer, however it is best to bring more rather than not enough. Flashcards that you like are a good start and you should also include any special games when coming to Vietnam. You can buy sticky balls and stationary here so you can always make your own things as well.

Vietnam has a wide range of stationary shops which offer lots of stickers and simple stationary supplies

At the international food shops (L’s place), you can buy imported goods – however these are incredibly expensive so it is recommended that you bring a supply of your own favourite foods – whether this is marmite or pickle or some special local speciality. Chocolate is available in Vietnam however it is expensive so if you have space in your luggage make sure that you fill it to the maximum with chocolate.

Essentials

There is a huge range of toiletries in Vietnam – often at cheaper prices than in the West – so just bring your essentials for the first few days and simply buy here. All of the major brands are available and there are even some body shop stores. The only toiletries that are not easily available / are very expensive, are tampons – so it is advised that you bring enough to last you when coming to Vietnam.

Hair dye

Although you can have your hair professionally dyed in the beauty salon, if you usually dye your hair then it recommended that you bring your own dye with you. As Vietnamese have black hair then the dyes are suitable for black hair (typically a range of browns) which means that although looking great on locals, for foreigners the look is less than great!

Vitamins

Although Vietnamese food is good, there is a lack of dairy products in the cooking so it is easy to become low in calcium. As a result it is recommended that you bring a supply of basic multivitamins with you – the simple one a day type is fine – you simply need something to boost your basic intake.

Gifts

As you will undoubtedly be invited to people’s houses for events and dinners, it is a good idea to bring a selection of cheap gifts from your home country. These do not need to be expensive, but as they are unusual then they will be very much appreciated. Items such as local pictures, local embroidery or local Knick-knacks are recommended.

If you are about to accept an offer for teaching in Vietnam, you will typically be employed in one of three possible settings: 1. public school, via a language center or a headhunting agency that acts as an intermediary between you and the school, 2. English center classes, or 3. international schools or academies.

Teaching in Vietnam schools versus English centers

Schools versus English centers

1. Where to work?

You might assume that the last option seems to be the most ideal, which is true, however the higher benefit always comes with greater responsibility, which means it will involve higher expectations from parents,  meetings and feedback. The International Schools with CIS standard even set the bar higher with pages of requirements on expertise, qualifications as well as degree. So that’s why today we will only discuss the pros and cons of teaching at the first two options, as we mentioned before.

2. What to know about teaching in Vietnam?

The first difference between these two institutions is the flexibility of the working schedule. Public/ private schools usually only ask you to teach in a few periods (1 period = 45 minutes) on a daily basis (usually daytime), and you can always have some rest or go somewhere in your spare time/ right after classes, while English centers often have much denser teaching hours. You will also be assigned as the teacher in charge of several classes, which range in different ages and levels. Along with longer hours of lesson preparation, you will also have to keep a close track with your student ability and performance.

However, English centers always make sure that your working process and teaching experience are as comfortable as possible. Facilities (in medium and large centers) are always ensured to be advanced. Their professionalism is also a big plus, not to mention that the small number of learners also make your lessons be deployed in a more diverse and complete way compared to teaching in the large-sized classes of 30-40 students like in public schools.

3. How to adjust your teaching style to different working environments?

A. Teaching in Vietnam: public/ private schools

From my personal experience, teaching at schools in Vietnam is quite inconvenient compared to teaching at English centers. For classes at schools in general, the class size is, in most cases, the major challenge for teachers. You can barely play games or do physical activities indoors due to the lack of room, and somehow the big number of students also seems to be giving you troubles. So here are some advice on how to deal with a large-sized class as below.

  • Learn all their names. It’s a difficult task but it’s crucial to make sure not to show them any signs of you being suffocated or overwhelmed by the situation. It would be a great idea to tell them to create a name tag for themselves, which works both ways as they can have some fun while making them.
  • Try to speak loudly and keep the instructions short
  • Utilize pairwork and teamwork activities to have a better management over them

Followings are some suggestions of games for teaching at private/ public schools

  • Board games- students are often into games, especially games that they can play with other students in class. Find some printable games to advance your student’s experience and practice in the classroom!
  • Word association games- this game is able to be conducted no matter how many students you can have in one group. It will get even more exciting when you set a timing rule while playing.
  • Chinese whisper game- a really fun game that is easy to be paired with any types of practice within the classroom. You don’t even have to make the students sit in a group by turning around whatsoever, as this game is generally played in rows from back to front.
  • Group presentation- a classic form of team work that plays an important role of any child’s practical skill development.
  • Snowball fight- in case, for some reasons, you haven’t prepared ideas for practice activities, this game would be a life-savior. Let them have some fun throwing paper balls around and answering questions/ making a sentence, based on the information inside the balls.

B. Teaching in Vietnam: English centers

If you want to be fully committed to the career of teaching English in Vietnam, a language center is where you belong. However, there are numerous English centers from the professional to the ‘’so-called’’ ones, so make sure you do some good research on them before considering being a part of it. A quality English center consists of these criteria below

  • Good facilities including air-conditioners, a projector, white board, toys and tools (for kid classes), a computer, a teaching assistant, good sets of table and chairs, mattresses (in case you need space for some physical activities), nice wall decorations, and a sufficient source of teaching supplies ready to be used
  • Transparent payment and bonus policy, it doesn’t have to include lots of benefits or perks, just make sure that you always know who to speak to or what department/ individual is responsible for whatever the problems that may occur regarding the above matter
  • Good management system both online and offline
  • A quality working office machinery set such as a printer, scanner and good storage equipment.

Another significant feature of a good English center can also be spotted by the recruitment criteria and the feedback people make about them on online forums and discussion groups. A good center would have a high-standard in hiring their teachers since they have to maintain their reputation and education quality. Nevertheless, you can also find out about what those centers are really like by joining online communities and threads about teaching English in Vietnam, so that you can have the most genuine overview of them before taking up a teaching job in Vietnam.

It would not be far-reaching to state that most people find it hard to integrate and work in other countries. Especially in the teaching profession, as teachers are considered one of the foremost influencers and mentors to any individual. But Vietnam makes it easier and worthwhile for foreigners. There are a couple of reasons why foreigners would find this country worthy enough for work and some of them are highlighted below

Things that make Vietnam the most ideal country on earth

Things that make Vietnam the most ideal country on earth

1. The people of Vietnam

Wherever you go within the region, you will be welcomed with bright smiles and friendliness of the locals around you. Any times, they are willing to help you with directions and advice on transportation, as well as short-term shelter when needed. Regardless of which country you come from, what language you speak, Vietnamese people always treat you with both hospitality and sincerity.

In particular, if you want to integrate fastest into the culture here, connect with young people in the area where you stay. They are the most enthusiastic tour guides you could ever ask for, who will take you on a journey of discovering the local cuisine, lifestyle, culture as well as the natural sights of Vietnam, completely free of charge.

2. Reasonable costs of living

One thing that I can be certain with you is that the cost for a foreigner to live in Vietnam is extremely affordable. With only 1000 USD of income, you can easily live in a beautiful and fully equipped apartment in Da Nang and still be able to pay for your living expenses and savings. In two big cities like Saigon and Hanoi, the ideal salary is about 1500 USD for a single person to be able to live comfortably without any financial stress.

Reasonable costs of living

Reasonable costs of living

Also, if you are an English speaker and have stable jobs in smaller provinces in Vietnam, life is even easier because the standard of living in these places is lower, however the salary for foreigners (particularly native English teachers) are higher than average. So, the first thing to do when planning to move to Vietnam is to find a job that pays well.

3. Numerous jobs for expatriate workers

As Vietnam is an education-centered country, especially in the phase of globalization, learning English has become the most-hunted job within the country. That makes the process of recruiting English teachers, especially native teachers, extremely important and always a top priority. Many schools and centers are willing to pay a really high rate for a qualified native teacher in order to invest in Vietnamese children’s language ability. Thus, the teaching job opportunities for expatriate teachers always vary and even tend to rise in times to come.

Most schools and English centers provide full visa and work permit sponsorship, as well as other insurance and flight ticket coverage (if any) to facilitate your working in Vietnam. Therefore, it’s such a great chance for you to experience a different life in another country if you are down to taking a teaching position here. Overall, Vietnam provides a safe and ideal environment for the career advancement of qualified teachers.

4. Spectacular sceneries

Spectacular sceneries

Spectacular sceneries

What’s more to say? Vietnam is THE destination for your vacation trip, which is a proven fact. But living in Vietnam is even better, as you can have access to the beautiful landscapes in just from a few minutes to a few hours of driving depending on your location. The exposure to the natural environment is limitless, especially when you stay in famous cities such as Danang, Quang Binh, or Halong.

5. That Covid-19 epidemic is always kept under control

This must be the biggest reason why Vietnam has its place at the top of ‘’safest country ‘’ list. Despite the rising number of infected and death cases in many country all over the world, the Covid situation here is momently tracked and well- managed. When the news are updated daily, actions from the government are also taken immediately when there is an unknown infectious case among the society. As a result, Vietnam’s economy is less affected by the Covid epidemic than any other countries, and is highly valued for its effective healthcare system in general and the nation’s epidemic prevention in particular.

6. The peaceful living pace of Vietnam

The peaceful pace of living

The peaceful pace of living

It is always hectic in such populated cities like Hanoi and Saigon, however when it comes to smaller provinces and cities, life is less fast-paced. You can find yourself chilling on a sandy beach on a mildly sunny day in Danang city unworried. It’s just you, the sea and the whole fresh breath of nature around you. If you are in search of a relaxed and sentimental style of living, Vietnam is simply the destination tailored for you.
